California Privacy Rights (CPRA and Delete Act)

Under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), you have the right to:

  • Access your personal information (up to twice per year).
  • Request deletion of your information (subject to exceptions).

  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Limit use of sensitive information.
  • Not face discrimination for exercising your rights.

To submit a request, use our webform, email support@skwarehome.  Please include your name, email, and mailing address. We may verify your identity to process the request.

You may also appoint an authorized agent. We may require documentation to verify their authority.

In the last 12 months, SKWARE may have “sold” or “shared” the following categories of data (as defined by CPRA): device information, location data, website interactions, transaction data, social media use, and profile information—primarily to marketing and technology partners.

We also disclose data to service providers for business purposes, such as operations, marketing, or analytics.

Additional California Rights

California residents may request:

  • A list of personal data categories shared for third-party direct marketing in the prior calendar year.
  • The identity of those third parties.

Other U.S. State Privacy Laws

As of August 2025, similar privacy laws are in effect in Virginia, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Florida, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Rhode Island. These laws provide rights similar to the CPRA, including access, deletion, correction, and opt-out rights.

SKWARE is committed to complying with applicable state privacy laws across the U.S.

Federal Privacy Landscape

There is currently no comprehensive federal privacy law in effect. The proposed American Privacy Rights Act (APRA), introduced in 2024, remains under legislative review. We continue to monitor federal developments and will update our policies accordingly.
