Warranty Information

At SKWARE, we stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. We warrant to the original purchaser that all SKWARE products are free from defects in materials and workmanship, effective from the date of purchase and valid for as long as the original owner retains the product.

This warranty applies exclusively to products purchased within the United States directly from SKWARE or from an authorized SKWARE retailer. Products must be purchased through authorized sellers who adhere to our standards for quality, service, and customer care. We reserve the right to deny warranty coverage for items obtained from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized online marketplaces.

Please note that this warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse, neglect, or abuse
  • Alterations or unauthorized modifications
  • Damage resulting from use beyond the product's intended purpose

If your SKWARE product is damaged and deemed eligible under this warranty, we’ll replace it with the same item whenever possible. If the original item is no longer available, we may substitute it with a comparable product of equal value and performance.

SKWARE also reserves the right to decline replacement requests for products that show damage consistent with ordinary wear and use.

SKWARE will not cover accidental damage (dropped knife) or damage that occurs from using the knife for any other purpose than cutting food. Chips in the knife blades, broken knife tips, dulling, discoloration from food and rust spots are not covered. Knife chips and broken knife tips can often be repaired by re-sharpening. Rust and discoloration can be cleared using a simple stainless steel cleaning agent like Barkeepers Friend.

Additional Information

This limited warranty is the full extent of SKWARE’s warranty coverage. No other warranties apply beyond what is expressly stated here. Any implied warranties—such as those of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose—are limited in duration to the length of this warranty. However, some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.

SKWARE will not be held responsible for any incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from a breach of this warranty, contract, or strict liability. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of use or replacement costs beyond what is covered. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of these types of damages, so these exclusions may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have additional rights depending on the laws in your state.
